Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and is a SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to communicate in two languages allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In this role she was able to collaborate with national program producers like Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. It was the CBS affiliate of St. Petersburg hired her after this as a sports reporter. She moved in 2009 into Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an anchor for the newscast of KNVO TV 48 Univision. Also, she was the Spanish reporter at the newscast at 5 p.m., an anchor and reporter on the newscast from nine p.m. on English as well as also a Spanish reporter from 10 p.m. In addition, she was used on occasion as a weather and sport anchor. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born there on November 22 in 1985. There is also an older sister. The family moved in 1992 to Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. She divorced her parents soon after and, in 1995, she married a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was during a time of summer when she was with her sibling at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten an employment. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school, but she had a clear idea of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. The campus was stunning as well as offered the level of education she sought. She graduated from school and was went to the University as a media studies major. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his love of journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
